Antonio Berardi took inspiration for his new F/W 2015 RTW collection from the Louis Vuitton Foundation building in Bois de Boulogne, Paris by Frank Gehry. The building is a spectacular piece of art unto itself, housing a vast contemporary art collection. The building is inspired by maritime imagery, with swooping geometric glass shapes jutting out in varying degrees and directions.
Antonio Berardi visited the building, and was inspired by the reflection of the trees in the building’s glass. The resulting collection was full of dreamlike floral and leaf prints on layers of geometric shapes in feminine body con silhouettes with just a pop of futuristic embellishment. Some of the looks are very RTW while others have a complete “wearable art” feel to them.
