LFW: Peter Pilotto’s Childhood Game Inspired Fashion Collection

I can’t imagine a direct reference of childhood games like Chutes and Ladders or Candy Land actually translating well into fashion. Yet somehow this happened….

Peter Pilotto‘s F/W 2015 RTW collection certainly has a lot of looks that just leave your jaw hanging down to the floor – in a good way, I think! The looks are playful, innocent, and imaginative. Anyone who experienced childhood in the 1980’s can instantly recognize the aesthetic of our yesteryears.

  1. I love the idea of being inspired by such childlike things, I just wished the designer would’ve used brighter colors really, especially considering these toys were from the 80s.
