{Luxe Travel Review} Hilton La Jolla San Diego

On a recent business trip, I had the luxurious fortune to attend a week long seminar at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. Oh twist my arm, employer. The resort is enormous, and from the moment of arrival, we were spoiled rotten.

The guys drooled over the golf course while I eyed the spa and heated pool. Every square inch of the place was pristine and gorgeous. We all naturally seemed to gravitate every night to the lovely outdoor spaces, especially the cozy fire pits with a cocktail from the bar just steps away. Actually, what I loved about this resort was all the well-appointed and well-manicured outdoor space. This is a place that I can go and literally stay the entire time at the resort and feel like it was an amazingly relaxing and luxurious vacation.

We ended up eating a lot of our meals at the resort due to a tight schedule for the seminar. We dreaded spending long days working, but little did we know that we would be insanely spoiled by the staff constantly plying us with delicious snacks and drinks. They put an amazing spread out for us – mostly veranda buffets of delicious fare. I don’t recall eating a single thing that I didn’t love. And the service was stellar – just seconds after I finished, a ninja attendant has swept in silently to steal the plate away without my even noticing. They were all very friendly as well.
