A sexy collection in black, the Versus Versace S/S16 RTW show was full of the signature Versace elements – bodycon silhouettes, short hemlines, lion medalions, and skin peeking cutouts. The asymmetric cutouts were fantastic, followed by a refreshing flowing set of chiffon animal print looks and some black leather.
But after that, the denim showed up. Black velvet trimmed, cobalt washed and painted with white and dark blue Corinthian columns, palm trees, and lily pad leaves. It just looks dressed down and dated.
One of my favorite looks was the side-caped halter top and shorts with a gorgeous floral and pineapple print, followed by several floral looks and the finale – a few simple but gorgeous black gowns.
