MFW: Roberto Cavalli’s 1980’s Review

The Roberto Cavalli MFW runway was filled with looks inspired by the 80’s – an oft replicated era with cheesy designs, terrible acid washes, and unfortunate silhouettes. Thankfully, Peter Dundas took the concept in a more subtle direction. High waisted pants, bodycon dresses in animal prints, leather and denim jackets, giant bowed one shoulder tube tops, and a few fabulous skin-popping geometric bodice chiffon gowns.

    Ok! The 80s done right!
If you’re an 80s baby…like me…and miss the fashion from back then…unlike me… then there’s your collection! Peter Dundas nailed it! He revamped the classics such as the bow, the acid washed out jeans, the boots…and made them 2016 chic! Bravo!
