Luxe Travel: 3 of the Top Luxury Stays in Monte-Carlo, Monaco

Monte-Carlo, or “Mount Charles” is the quintessential chic, luxury destination that never goes out of style. Situated on the French Riviera at the base of the maritime Alps, it offers extravagant luxury accommodations, shopping, beaches, casinos, an opera house, and the famous Circuit de Monaco, home to the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix.

Nestled between near the Italian border, Monaco has a fusion of some of the best elements of both countries, including stunning architecture, rich cultural heritage, and scrumptious Mediterranean-influenced cuisine.

A top destination for luxury experiences, many films have been shot at this location, including James Bond films Never Say Never Again and Golden Eye, Iron Man 2, and To Catch a Thief. While there are several nice rental homes and apartments, these resorts seem to offer the best luxury experiences….

Located at the Place du Casino just by the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Hôtel de Paris offers guests a luxury stay in the heart of the action. Aside from the stunning views, the hotel also has a private beach, three restaurants, most notably Le Louis XV-Alain Ducasse, a bar, a 600,000 bottle wine cellar, a salon, luxury boutiques, eight lounges, and a massive spa, the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, which offers a pool, fitness center, sauna, solarium, a Moroccan hammam, or steam room, and almost every spa and beauty treatment you could possibly fathom barring plastic surgery (although I’m sure they could arrange it!).

Accommodations are tiered, with the Diamond Suites offering the most luxury, with over 1,800 sq ft of the highest quality amenities. While the penthouse suite, known as the Winston Churchill is currently under renovations, you can stay at the second best Charles Garnier, which is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath suite with a 431 sq ft terrace with a stunning view of the Place du Casino.
