Best Luxe Looks: Zac Posen’s Floral Nod to Cubism

For his pre-Fall 2016 collection, Zac Posen toyed with structure and silhouette, showcasing both evening wear as well as a few floral frocks and separates. Particular focus was placed on suits, with a floral jacquard jacket that gave a nod to cubism with its spliced and layered structuring, labeled the ‘Braque technique‘. An over-the-top emerald gown had stacked godet pleats that were so large, the piece looked like a sculpture rather than a gown. Please somebody wear that on a red carpet. Um, actually…I seriously want to wear that. Too much for a dinner party?
