Penelope Cruz went classic bombshell in a low-cut number at the 31st annual Goya Cinema Awards in Madrid, Spain. She wore a black high-slit gown that wrapped around the shoulders and a Swarovski pavé encrusted bra top, with the fabric ruching at her side.
Aimee Teegarden hit the red carpet of her latest horror film Rings in LA on Thursday. The actress was looking sultry in a red lace plunge midi dress with an empire waist outlined with double lace faux belts.
Teegarden looked absolutely incredible. Ok, maybe a little uncomfortable on the red carpet – she looks as if she’s saying “what do I do with my hands?!” But the girl was dressed.
Earlier this week, Harper’s Bazaar began their year long celebration of the magazine’s 150th anniversary – a major milestone for the first fashion magazine in the U.S. So for February’s issue, they decided to cover a list of the 150 most fashionable women in the world, categorizing them into supermodels, music powerhouses, red carpet rule breakers, and the ones to watch.
It was a wide range of looks on the People’s Choice Awards red carpet last night in LA. From a faux leather baby bump to a fringe mini to full glam, it was all there. And a lot of black this year. But boring is not the word I’d call this red carpet. These ladies came to show off their personalities.

Can we all just take a moment to look in awe at Zoe Saldana‘s gorgeous porcelain white opulently textured outfit?
After some of the stars nabbed their Golden Globes (no spoilers here if you DVR’d it!), it was time to hit the after parties, and there were quite a few across Hollywood. And for many, that meant a wardrobe change to head out and celebrate with some A-list party goers.

Stars like Nicole Kidman, Isla Fisher, and Mel Gibson attended the AACTA awards – Australia’s version of the Oscars – and I’m in love with Nicole’s dress. She wore a black couture look from Rochas with a lace bodice, wrapped horizontally just below the bust, with a tulle faux-pleat skirt. Gorgeous, flirty, and absolute perfection.
So this year wasn’t too kind to us as a collective group. We lost some of our most beloved artists and celebrities like Prince, David Bowie, and Carrie Fisher; regardless of political affiliations, most Americans feel like we all lost in the presidential elections; Brexit happened to our fellow UK friends across the pond; the Zika virus took many hostage; hostilities climaxed in police shootings and civil unrest; terror attacks across the globe; Syria; and somehow we still haven’t managed to lose Kanye West.
Over the last 8 years, it’s been intriguing to watch Michelle Obama’s sartorial take on the holidays. The position of FLOTUS is one with many responsibilities, but perhaps most visible, and most talked about for years to come (unfortunately), is often the First Lady’s choice in style.

When you think of Jackie O’s legacy, I bet her perfectly tailored skirt suits, pillbox hats, oversized glasses, and those timeless perfectly fitted classic dresses. Just like it matters what color tie the POTUS wears, or how presidential his suit looks, so too matters the fashion choices of the First Lady.
