Giambattista Valli managed to merge both the boho traveler and the princess in a ballgown into one couture collection, and I’m still not quite sure how this all fit together. For his Spring17 Couture runway at Paris Fashion Week, Valli imagined a (super rich) traveler pulling out her dresses to find major creases in them…but hey, you’re traveling. C’est la vie, right? It’s the bohemian, life?
{Luxe Red Carpet} 3 Looks Worn by Emma Stone at Venice Film Festival
Emma Stone is getting an easy A again at the Venice Film Festival, and it’s not just because of her acting. The actress has been working the red carpet in several designer looks that have been head turners, brow raisers, and at the very least, golf clappers.

{PFW Fall 16 RTW} Giambattista Valli’s Vintage European Tour
Giambattista Valli took to the 60’s with graphic floral embroideries on high collared dresses and tops with drop waist skirts. Yet the 60’s were not the only era he looked to. Valli also took inspiration from fashion elements of ancient Europe in a palette that was crisp and clean, in black and white with pops of pastel pink, yellow, and red.
The looks had that breeze of girlish touches that make Valli’s classic collections feel sweet and nostalgic. Flowing plissé chiffon was double banded at the waist with an oversized ruffle collar and gladiator style pumps. Vertical ruffles created a striping effect on a fluttering mini dress before ending in horizontal skirt ruffles.

{Celeb Style} Olivia Palermo at PFW Spring 16
Once again, I love covering one of my favorite fashionistas. Very few have consistently stepped out in fashion forward but well-edited looks pretty much every single time. It’s Olivia Palermo who always seems to be putting perfection together, in pieces most of us would never think of.
She worked her style gorgeously throughout the Paris Fashion Week events.

{PFW} Giambattista Valli’s Parisian Fleur
Inspired by the gardens of Paris, Giambattista Valli focused his Spring 16 Couture collection around the beauty of the flower. The motif was realized through a variety of forms, including floral appliqués, tulip shaped bubble sleeves, ruffled edging, and embroideries.
Valli introduced the perfect balance between the soft, sweet florals with forward leaning design and tailoring that made the looks seem fresh and chic. And he toyed with texture throughout the collection of mini dresses, creating riveting looks made for a young fashionista who dares to bare.

Giambattista Valli’s Pre-Fall 16 Collection Goes Retro-Boho
Giambattista Valli‘s Pre-Fall 2016 collection is a bit of a departure from his usual evening glam creations. Instead, an easy daywear focus led to a balance of crisp tailored pants and maxi dresses. And it all had a romantic whimsy to it with retro–boho prints. Still, it felt glam with brocades, furs, and chiffons elevating the looks to meet Valli’s haute standards of chic. I’ve always gravitated to the flower child style, so this collection is a personal favorite!

Best Luxe Looks: 2016 Golden Globes Best Dressed Celebs
Tonight, the red carpet at the Golden Globes was full of absolutely STUNNING looks (and a few flops).
Many gorgeous stars made the best dressed list this year. Ladies like Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, JLaw, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and Kirsten Dunst topped the list in couture gowns.
After changing my mind 5 times, I decided I couldn’t pick a favorite, but I LOVE the gowns on Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Natalie Dormer, Tracey Edmonds, Lily James, and Jaimie Alexander. Like I said, it was a good red carpet.
